    This Privacy Policy explains how Antiqzy AI: Antique Identifier ("Antiqzy", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the app.

    2. Information We Collect

    • Identifiers & Account Data: Firebase anonymous ID for guest users. If you sign in, we collect name/email via Google, Apple, or email sign-in.
    • Images: Photos you upload for antique, vintage, collectible, or item identification; images you attach in AI Chat, collections, community posts, or listings.
    • User Content: Collections, notes, saved items, public community posts/comments, marketplace/classified listings, item descriptions, prices, and seller details if provided.
    • Reports: Report reasons and identifiers used to manage abuse, fraud, spam, and moderation.
    • Device & Usage Data: Analytics, app events, crash reports, device information, app version, and performance data through Firebase Analytics, GA4, and Crashlytics.
    • Location: We do not collect precise GPS location unless a feature asks for it and you allow it. For listings, users may manually enter a city or region.

    3. Purpose of Data Collection

    We collect data to:

    • Provide AI-powered antique, vintage, and collectible identification.
    • Generate item details such as type, era, style, material, origin, history, condition indicators, and estimated value range.
    • Provide AI Chat responses.
    • Maintain private collections, saved items, community features, and marketplace/classified listings.
    • Improve app performance, stability, safety, and identification accuracy.
    • Detect abuse, fake listings, spam, fraud, and policy violations.

    4. AI/ML Processing

    Antiqzy uses AI/ML technologies to analyze uploaded images and generate identification results. Uploaded images, results, corrections, and related metadata may be used to improve our identification models and app experience.

    AI results, value estimates, authenticity indicators, and historical details are informational only and should not be treated as professional appraisal, legal, financial, or authentication advice.

    5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

    We share data only with service providers needed to operate Antiqzy, such as:

    • Firebase for authentication, analytics, and app infrastructure.
    • GA4 for analytics.
    • Crashlytics for crash reporting.
    • Google Gemini or other AI providers for AI Chat and item analysis.
    • Cloud hosting, storage, database, and backend infrastructure providers.
    • App stores/payment providers for subscriptions and purchases, where applicable.

    We do not sell your data.

    6. Marketplace and Public Content

    If you post in community or marketplace/classified areas, your content may be visible to other users.

    Users are responsible for ensuring that listed items are legal to own, sell, display, or transfer. Antiqzy does not independently verify item authenticity, ownership, legality, or value unless explicitly stated.

    Users must not list prohibited, stolen, counterfeit, restricted, culturally protected, regulated, or illegal items.

    7. Data Security

    We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure practices.

    8. Your Rights Under GDPR

    If you are an EU/EEA resident, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent, or file a complaint with a data protection authority.

    9. Data Retention

    • Identification images are stored on our servers and may be used to improve the identification model.
    • AI Chat history is stored for up to 30 days and then deleted or subject to TTL-based retention.
    • Other stored data is retained only as needed for app functionality, safety, legal, moderation, or compliance purposes.

    10. International Data Transfers

    Your data may be processed or stored outside your country, including in India, the United States, or other countries where our service providers operate.

    11. Children’s Privacy

    Antiqzy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

    12. User Content Ownership

    You retain ownership of content you upload or post. You grant Antiqzy permission to use it for app functionality, AI identification, community features, marketplace/listing features, moderation, support, and improving the identification feature.

    13. Consent and Withdrawal

    By using Antiqzy, you consent to this Privacy Policy. You may withdraw consent by deleting your data using in-app controls or contacting us.

    14. Changes to Privacy Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date will reflect changes.

    15. Data Breach Protocol

    If a data breach occurs, we will notify affected users and authorities as required by applicable law.
